Kaitawa 2004 - Rhys Arnold 2004
Kaitawa is the site of a former Maori Pa (fortified village) quite close to where I live. The whole area around Kaitawa (and the nearby hill, Whitireia) can be very spiritual - at least, when the wind stops blowing! I originally produced the Kaitawa image in 2000, however, the original version was quite lo-res and very dark. The current image in the gallery was re-worked in Feb 2004.
